The Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur travels across the Laurentians with Dance Trails.
On July 3, 4, and 5, our artists will stop in the parks of Val-Morin, Morin-Heights, and Saint-Hippolyte to offer you a 60-minute dance journey in the heart of nature. Let yourself be guided through a series of performances that unfold along the way.

An experience presented by TD, in collaboration with the municipalities of Val-Morin, Morin-Heights, and Saint-Hippolyte, as well as the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s novel Mrs. Dalloway, choreographer and performer Elie-Anne Ross explores her states of consciousness through her artistry. Drawing on a form of automatic writing, she seeks to capture her mental and physical fluctuations.

Through popping and isolations — used as body-scanning techniques — she soothes waves of thought and reclaims her body, driven by a desire to reconnect with her essence.

Animation and text create unexpected juxtapositions, recreating a universe that is both chaotic and surreal, reflecting the imagination.

The company Vías will present an intimate duet, a conversation through the body, surrendering to the paradoxical emotional diversity we face in today’s world. This piece invites the audience to navigate through the denial of pain, acceptance and the thrill of being alive.

Eight individuals, each carrying a unique story, come together in a shared quest. Through rhythmic steps and fluid movements, they overcome obstacles and discover new horizons with a growing collective energy. A performance that celebrates the richness of collaboration, self-transcendence and the discovery of others through percussive dance.
