For 64 years, they have been synonymous with excellence and creativity. After a year-long hiatus, Les Grands Ballets, with Ivan Cavallari at the helm, were delighted to return to the stage and their audiences this spring. In Saint-Sauveur, they will present a mixed program combining classical ballet and contemporary dance, recent creations by artists of the new generation and repertory excerpts. It promises to be an exceptional event, with a program that includes Uwe Scholz’s Seventh Symphony (2nd movement), Ben Van Cauwenbergh’s Les bourgeois, Andrew Skeels’s Requiem (5th movement), Marcos Morau’s Fukuoka, Coppélia suite and other surprises.
