6:00 P.M. – Jig and Foot Percussion Workshop

Before the concert, take part in a 45-minute participatory workshop where you’ll learn the basics of jig and foot percussion, led by Dominic Desrochers and Jean-François Dumas.

7:00 P.M. – Repères Concert

This brand-new show highlights the foundations on which the traditional folk group Bon Débarras builds its creative process: identity, geography, language, culture, and above all, humanity. These roots have inspired collaborations in both words (with Joséphine Bacon, Gaston Miron, Simon Gauthier, Gilles Vigneault) and music (with Michel Faubert, Cédric Dind-Lavoie).

RADIOTANGO AND TANGO CLUB RIVE-NORD

Explore the captivating world of Argentine tango in a workshop led by passionate instructors from Tango Club Rive-Nord. Discover the richness of this partnered dance, where improvisation becomes a bodily conversation. Learn to lead your partner through essential elements like posture, connection, and listening.

This workshop is open to everyone and invites you to a warm, lively, and discovery-filled experience. Come one, come all to share an unforgettable moment of dance and artistic expression!

7:00 P.M. – Radiotango Concert

Extend the evening by joining the milonga set to the enchanting music of Radiotango.

For over 10 years, Radiotango has been sharing the beauty of tango across Quebec—from milongas to concert halls, from intense dance nights to open-air festivals. The ensemble revisits golden-age tango classics (1930s–1950s) with an intimate setup: piano, violin, double bass, bandoneon, and voice.

Driven by the expressive voice of Damian Nisenson, an Argentinian based in Montreal, Radiotango brings out the poetic beauty of the greatest Argentine authors, offering a rich and authentic musical experience.
