The chemistry between them is palpable. One is a choreographer and tap-dancing sensation, the other a composer and virtuoso pianist. The ultra-talented duo Caleb Teicher and Conrad Tao have been working together for years, creating and performing exhilarating dance concerts. Their last show, More Forever, won a Bessie Award in New York. This year, Counterpoint starts and ends with a movement from Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Also on the program, other classical works (Brahms, Ravel, Mozart), jazz standards, and a work that spans the two genres, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Music and dance blend into a seamless work of true pleasure.
