Guillaume Côté, an exceptional dancer and gifted choreographer whose talent has been acclaimed over the years in Saint-Sauveur, returns to us with Martha Hart, Kelly Shaw, Benjamin Landsberg and Rakeem Hardy, four contemporary dancers from Toronto. +(dix) symbolizes the perpetual renewal of the cycle of life. Inspired by the legendary myth of Odysseus, whose long and perilous journey to find his homeland and his family took 10 years, the work addresses the challenges of returning home, guided by one’s “inner compass,” a magnetic force outside of us that charts the course. What if the journey was above all a quest to find self?
