In Saint-Sauveur for one night only, as part of a North American tour, the Bulareyaung Dance Company invites us on a dazzling journey into a rich and vibrant culture. Inspired by nature and traditional songs, this company creates dance deeply rooted in the Indigenous cultures of Taiwan. With LUNA, they present a striking work born from an extended stay among the Bunun people in the island’s mountains. The piece interweaves ancestral songs and rituals, infusing the dance with its profound strength and beauty. Powered by the raw energy of 9 male performers, LUNA boldly traces a path between living tradition and contemporary creation.
This tour is made possible through the support of the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan (R.O.C.).
A guaranteed experience of wonder and cultural immersion!
“ [. . .] It was indeed a world-class performance, by a world-class dance company who brought their small but genuine, sincere efforts to showcase the power of a simple and yet beautiful cultural exchange.” Baskl, Kuala Lumpur
