Complexions Contemporary Ballet believes dance should remove boundaries and reflect the movement of our world. The New York-based troupe, founded 25 years ago by African American choreographer Dwight Roden and co-artistic director/ dancer Desmond Richardson, takes a singular approach to reinventing dance through a mix of methods, styles and cultures. The company is back in St-Sauveur with a musical program of contrasts entitled From Bach To Bowie. The work is an homage to two legendary figures of music: Johann Sebastian Bach, timeless genius, and David Bowie, chameleon artist and rock legend, with nine of the latter’s iconic songs as the musical soundscape. A brilliant and explosive night of dance!
“ Complexions… A matchless American dance company.”
